So, I had my first feeling of euphoria with the "Queen" painting, then came Kiara Brooks, who posted her artwork gallery on Instagram. A young artist from Ohio, her paintings seemed to match my personality.
The first painting I purchased was "Sips Tea." The subject had girly fingernail polish, glitter eyeshadow, rollers, holding a cup of tea. I like to think it's coffee, however. I reached out to ask if the original was available, but it had sold it. I was crushed, but she told me she could recreate the piece; I just needed to pick a size.
At the time, I didn't realize that many artists only offer prints of their original work. Kiara took the time to recreate her original piece in a smaller size. The original was 20x24. I chose a 14x18 (pictured below from my IG page). In hindsight, I was foolish to choose this size. I love her use of bright green and a little pop of purple. It deserved to be larger.
